About our owner
Kevin Farmer (b. 1986) was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and raised in Pandora, Ohio. His passion for music began early and continued to grow throughout his high school years, where he was actively involved in choir, concert band, marching band, and pep band. During this time, he served as percussion section leader for three years and was honored in 2004 with the prestigious John Philip Sousa Award, a nationally recognized distinction presented to outstanding high school band students.
At the age of 15, Kevin began playing bass guitar and added guitar to his musical studies six months later. These experiences sparked a lifelong passion for music performance, education, and creative development. He pursued this passion academically by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Business from Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio. While at Bluffton, Kevin was deeply involved in the university’s music program, participating in men’s chorus, Camerata Singers, concert band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, guitar ensemble, and string ensemble.
With more than 22 years of musical experience, Kevin has built a diverse background as both a musician and educator. His professional experience includes six years serving in the classroom as a music educator, as well as multiple seasons of ministry leadership as a worship leader and family ministries pastor in several churches. Through his work in music and ministry, Kevin has remained committed to developing musicianship, creativity, confidence, and character in the next generation.
