KF Music Studio started out a Fundamental belief that all people can learn the skill of music. Everything we offer is to make the process of developing as a musician clear. Whether it’s offering group classes to homeschool pods and private schools, to individual lessons, to Music Director trainings for churches, we want to join you on your musical journey!
About our owner
Kevin Farmer (1986- ) was born in Dearborn MI, and grew in a small town in Northwest Ohio called Pandora. During his school years, Kevin was a member of choir and band, including marching band and pep band where he was a percussion section leader for 3 years. He is a 2004 winner of the John Philip Sousa award, a nationally recognized high school band distinction.
Picking up the bass at 15, and the guitar 6 months later, he developed a love for those instruments and the idea of making and learning about music. Kevin decided to continue his music education by getting his B.A in Music Business from Bluffton, Ohio. During his time there, he was an active member in the men’s chorus, Camerata Singers, concert band, jazz band, percussion, guitar, and string ensembles.
Since then, Kevin has had over 22 years of music experience, including 6 years in the classroom as a music educator. He has multiple stints as a worship leader and family ministries pastor in multiple churches.
